AVRECO San Diego is the newest sister office of AVRECO, headquarted in Chicago. AVRECO San Diego is headed up by SVP Greg Schrom with support from the Chicago office.

The office officially opened on September 11, 2006, and is located in San Diego, CA.

This new office is run by SVP Greg Schrom, who originally joined the company in October 2005 with the objective of expanding operations in the western United States. Mr. Schrom and his staff work in conjunction with the Chicago office to continue developing all lines of business in California and the western United States, with particular expertise in Medical and Non-Medical Professional Liability and difficult Property risks.

Mr. Schrom's 18 years in the insurance industry include experience in underwriting, product development, regulatory affairs, project management, distribution management, and marketing. Originally trained in general commercial P&C underwriting at The Hartford, Mr. Schrom came to AVRECO from Fireman's Fund Specialty, where he worked for the past 9 years in such leadership roles as Marketing Manager and Program Manager for various professional liability products.

You may already access AVRECO for a specific class of business. Your specialty product broker relationship should continue through our Chicago office. However, we are dedicating a resource to offer full-service wholesale brokerage and package facilities to the Western US (AZ, CA, CO, NM, NV, and UT).
